Ordering guidance helps diners choose better and usually helps the restaurant sell a more balanced meal.

Type Example
First order Good first order for two: dumplings, one protein, one vegetable, rice.
Group order For four: one cold dish, two proteins, one vegetable, one starch.
Spice note Ma-la dishes are numbing-spicy and cannot always be made mild.
Format note Hot pot: choose broth first, then ingredients, then sauce.
House specialty note Best for sharing or requires 20 minutes.
