Ingredients
- 1 whole pomfret or mild white fish
- 2 salted plums or 1 tbsp salted plum sauce
- 3 slices ginger
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 2 shiitake mushrooms, optional
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tsp neutral oil
- Scallions or cilantro
Method
- Clean and score fish.
- Place ginger, tomato, mushrooms, and salted plum around fish.
- Steam until just cooked.
- Warm soy sauce and oil.
- Spoon sauce over fish.
- Finish with herbs.
