Ingredients
- 2 lb pork spare ribs
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or maltose
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, optional
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing wine, optional
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- Garlic
- Red fermented bean curd or red color, optional
Method
- Mix marinade ingredients.
- Marinate ribs at least 4 hours.
- Roast on a rack until cooked and browned.
- Brush with honey or maltose near the end.
- Rest briefly.
- Cut and serve.
